Great crib - cracked in dry climate

The crib is really lovely. It is exactly as advertised. That being said, we live in a dry climate and the wood panels on the side have cracked. I have seen other wood items crack in our area (Montana) so it is not unheard of, just unfortunate. I was hoping it would be of high enough quality that would not happen.

Additionally, the holes for the metal supports that hold the mattress platform up are NOT strong enough to hold a jumping toddler. Since we converted it to a toddler bed and our rambunctious three-year-old started running and jumping around on it, all four of the corner supports have broken. It's not the end of the world because it then just sits about 1/2" lower, but worth noting that we have broken all four corners.

Hi, Jill! Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear from you and totally understand your concerns.

Our cribs are tested to ensure they’re safe for sleeping, but we recommend avoiding activities like jumping inside the crib to keep your little one safe.

For the best care of your crib, try to keep the room temperature between 70°F and 72°F and the humidity around 50%-55%. Since our cribs are made from organic solid wood, these conditions help maintain their look and durability.

Solid Crib

We love this crib. It was super easy and actually fun to assemble. It's sturdy and feels like it's going to last for many years. Definitely getting the convertible parts to turn it into a bed when my boy is ready. He's also been sleeping better at 4 months old in this crib. It also looks beautiful and classy. Anyways, highly recommend it.
